I'd like to make a new release of the package manager soon, considering that quite some changes, bug fixes, new features have accumulated. IMHO the following things should be finished first:
* finish the "fink cleanup" command, for which I checked in a first, incomplete version today * decide about the fate of "fink checksums": keep it, remove it? If we keep it: rename it? add features to it? If there is anyhting else you think that should be in this release, please say so, and clearly state why you think that this feature should be in this particular release, and can't wait for a later date. In addition of this, it would of course be nice if we could fix the apt package to compile with gcc 3 / on Jaguar, so that we have a fink PM release that bootstraps on OS X. Alas, this is only a bonus for now, and can safel wait till .14 or .15 Max -- ----------------------------------------------- Max Horn Software Developer email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> phone: (+49) 6151-494890 _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas - http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm?source=osdntextlink _______________________________________________ Fink-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-devel
