What do you think, should I modify the PDB code so that splitoffs are not shown in the PDB ?
I don't think it's very useful for anybody to list them there (though I will happily listen to reasons why it's useful after all). OTOH it makes it in my eyes somewhat harder to navigate the PDB, e.g. on http://fink.sourceforge.net/pdb/section.php/kde the list of packages is harder to read with all those -dev package in there. Oh and while I am at it - Benjamin, why not shorten that "K Desktop Environment" in the descs of the kde-* packages to just say "KDE" ?
