Hi, I would really like to contribute to the fink project by porting some applications but unfortunately it seems I'm lacking some basic knowledge of the steps needed. When I start the configure script of some applications I would like to port I usually have the problems that some libs are not found even when I give the path to the libs explicitely. For example I'm trying to configure the rosengarden suite (midi-stuff) which needs kde3 and qt3 (which is already running fine thanks to the fink developers) by : ./configure --with-qt-dir=/sw/lib --prefix=/sw but configure fails with : checking for QT... configure: error: QT (>= QT 3.0.2) (library qt-mt) not found ...
It seems the names of the libs in /sw/lib are not recognized. Maybe someone here in this group can give me a little help to get on. In which way do I have to change the configure script in order that the libs are found ? Sorry for asking such a silly question UK _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas - http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm?source=osdntextlink _______________________________________________ Fink-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-devel
