But it's not as good as Fink - the build-from-source procedure is complicated and hard to automate, and there's no way to setup a binary package repository like the one that's accessible through Fink and dselect. So we're probably going to use Fink - but we'll take advantage of the patching effort of the various packaging communities for Solaris that exist out there. Our goal is to create a *heavily centralized* infrastructure, reliable and easy to use. And... Fink looks like the best available choice :) Cheers, -- Julien T.
