This happens on two separate machines with a clean install of Mac OS X 10.2
and Fink on both. One is running Mac OS X Server, the other client. I am
downloading the source installation of Fink, untarring it, running
bootstrap.sh. I configure it to use sudo, /sw, and then choose the US as my
country. I then choose all of the defaults for GNOME and other paths. Once
it's done installing, I edit /sw/etc/fink.conf and add the unstable/main and
unstable/crypto Trees. I then do a fink selfupdate-cvs, then fink
update-all. Matter of fact. I removed Fink from this computer completely and
am in the process of doing just that from scratch. For the second time in
two days. If you like I can attach the output from the script command to an
email once it's finished. Maybe I'm just missing something here, but I
really, really, really doubt it. Are you sure that you have the correct info
file in both stable and unstable trees? Perhaps you are looking at just the
stable tree and I am using the unstable tree (which is recommended for
10.2)?
