I'm in the process of preparing a package for mpich, a portable MPI
implimentation. The thing is MPI uses either rsh or ssh to do its some
of its business. One or both of these need to be properly configured
to be used, and instructions for configuring them can be found on the
mpich website.
The thing is this. If rsh or ssh is configured _before_ the configure
script is ran, then everything will just work, as apple folk seem to
like to say. If it is not, then more work needs be done after the
install.
I would like fink to warn a potential installer about this fact and
would like to know the standard way this might be accomplished.
Forgive me if this is old hat, but this is my second package and I'm a
bit raw.
