I am trying to compile KDE against QtMac 3.1, the native quartz version of Qt
(as opposed to the Qt/X11). Kdelibs won't pass the ./configure stage without
arts, so I downloaded fink's arts-1.1.0, and tried to configure and make it.

The configuration step went smoothly.

The make failed on gslcommon.c

I then tried to switch to gcc2 and g++2 by setting CC and CXX, but this caused
the configure script to fail, complaining that it can't find the qt-mt
library. I think the problem is that qt has been compiled with gcc/g++3, so
the link with it failed.

Did anybody try to build KDE againt the native Qt?

Thanks, Sivan Toledo, Tel-Aviv University
