Hi!
I have project which depends on 'gdk-pixbuf'. However gdk-pixbuf
currently have ton of dependencies on GNOME stuff. I've been told that
it could be compiled w/o GNOME support (if it does not find one during
configure). What would be right approach to resolve this? Currently
user have to install dosen of packages to satisfy gdk-pixbuf
dependencies. Compilation of these packages take 4+ hours and results
take 800Mb of disk space.
I was thinking about making 'gdk-pixbuf-nognome' package and setting in
my project conditional dependency from either 'gdk-pixbuf' or
'gdk-pixbuf-nognome'. Would it be right way of doing it?
Sincerely,
Vadim
