Please do not use the RSS validator at userland.com: it is outdated, buggy and written by the wrong person. feedvalidator.org is a lot better, but still does not check all RDF-related issues.

I would like to add that RSS is an extremely touchy & political field. E.g. there are the RSS 1.0 followers, the RSS 2.0 follower, and some others. They will bash at each other whenever given a chance to do so. Both sides will tell you that the other is inferior, and made by "the wrong person(s)" :-)

Personally I very much would prefer if we could stay clear of that rather futile debate (I am looking forward to the development of some new standard in favor of RSS, resolving all the problems all versions of RSS have :-). But again, that's besides the point.

Cheers,

Max
