Looking at the connect.apple.com, I presume you're referring to the "Java 1.4.1 Developer Tools Update"? So it looks like Fink doesn't list virtual packages that you can install on your box? In this case I had to ask somebody on the dev list, which doesn't seem ideal. It would be good if somehow I could have figured this out without taking people's time on the mailing list.
