As it turns out, Daniel Macks new code would bail if no percent expansion was needed, so i simply added a check. The fix is now in fink cvs.

I guess it is the * in the "TarFilesRename:  BladeEnc.*"
The use of wildcards is explicitly allowed in the docs though.
