Hello all

I know we have an excellent and working gnupg package. Yet, as I am a
frequent user and thus sometimes test GPG or use experimental features i
would like to include a package for the development tree (namels 1.3.4).

I have it installed and it works on my local box. Yes I cannot name this
package gnupg-dev since that would violate policies.

is gnupgdev a suitable name? Thanks

IMHO that name would easily lead to confusion. Why not "gnupg-alpha" or "gnupg-testing" etc.?

Because it is neither really testing nor is it alpha code. It is a development branch we does run reliably stable, it is just not meant for production because it usual has many experimental features of the OpenPGP standard. Thus it would be hard to support all those if it went into the stable branch too quickly.

thus my dilemma
