That's what I thought. But I don't see anything wrong. In fact running sudo gcc_select gives identical results whether /sw/bin/cc is symlinked to /sw/bin/ccache or /sw/bin/distcc. Yet with the former it compiles, while with the latter it fails with the message mentioned. Adding --verbose doesn't help. Is there a way to make fink "super verbose" to find out why it's objecting?
