That is bad, because 'Pending' tracker items are automatically closed in 2 weeks. Don't do that unless its a bug report that we cannot reproduce and that the submitter won't respond to your requests for info (within a month we usually give them, at least)
We could increase the 'Pending' time if desired, then it would probably be safe to use... But i don't know if submitters will remember to change the Pending status back to Open.
