Not really, no. But...


And more specifically to jump the 'rm -rf' part of the unpack phase ?

Edit your /sw/etc/fink.conf file and add the lines:


KeepBuildDir: true
KeepRootDir: true

Then your build and root directories will stay after an install. But be sure to remove (or comment) these lines again later, since your HD will fill up quickly otherwise.

What you can do is go into these directories and manually do e.g. 'make' in there. That's what i do often. There might be other solutions that i don't know of.
