Could you please expand on that statement? Not because I want to sound snippy, but because I am interested. Of course it is our wish to have the users (and developers) the best possible experience when using fink/Fink. If you can explain to me what the "punishment" is of the perpetual indexing, we can maybe find a way to improve the situation quickly.
