To me this looks like a problem between automake, autoconf and libtool.


Thats right. The .info file has no builddependency on automake, so if the user does not have fink's automake installed, the autogen script uses /usr/bin/automake, which then installs /usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4 into the configure script. Happily, this libtool.m4 is totally compatible with the ltmain.sh that /sw/bin/libtoolize installs from /sw/share/libtool .. NOT!!!!


The .info file needs a build depends on a fink automake package.
