I've written a fink package for the CFITSIO library, but I don't know which licence type is appropriate (OSI-Approved ?) . From the licence file:
OSI-Approved should be fine, the majority of it (the first part) is essentially a BSD license, and then a small part uses a GPL'd library.
It's probably enough to use "BSD" even.
