Is there a policy governing how to ask the user for information from a
package script (if it is allowed at all)? I'm looking into packaging
some software which is only available as a binary and which requires
filling out a form (name, email, address) to download. Performing the
download automatically in a package script would be easily handled by
curl. However, a good faith effort to provide correct user information
would require asking for that information at least once.

Also, would such a package (freeware without source code and with
restrictions on redistribution) be allowed in Fink?
