Miga's message is confusing: we're only at glib2/gtk+2 2.4 right now. However the 2.6 series is supposed to be binary-compatible with the 2.4 series (higher compatibility_version though) so the upgrade should still be fairly painless for users. OTOH, I noticed the the test suite has long been disabled in our glib2 package. I re-enabled it, and while our glib2-2.4.6-7 package passes on OS X 10.3, the glib2-2.6.4-1 in my exp/ fails one of the array tests. Oops.
