A) It worked without doing SSH operations, so I committed it on that basis. B) My "rebuild" explanation was bogus--I now recall that I _downgraded_ first before I rebuilt, and the downgraded versions were those that were installed and actually worked. C) I'll put the old version back and keep looking at 1.12.x -- regard the log that I posted as something to be looked at to try to ascertain why the damn thing failed with SSH rather than as a success story. I'm changing the source URL (so that it actually works now) but I'm leaving the revision intact as the package will be the same in terms of building and running, unless people think that I need to up the Epoch and consequently the revision. --AKH ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Fink-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-devel
