I didn't know this existed, and it seemed likely to solve the problem,
but if I use it there are still two freetypes loaded (since there are
two pangos loaded) and it still crashes. Very odd.
Gimp crashes for me, too.
I edited gtk+2.info and tried making gtk+2 depend on freetype219
and pango1-xft2-ft219, then it stopped crashing. But the thing I built
is something that should be called "gtk+2-ft219", maybe not gtk+2. :(
gimp2 is wanted for some lectures of Todai University.
So we'll work around this problem with our local package..
