I'm particularly interested in the VLSI/CAD/EDA applications myself.

Could someone look into updating this to rework-17?  15* may be a bit
outdated.

One of these days, I intend to submit a package for Magic, the VLSI
layout editor, but I just have not gotten around to it yet.  I've had
instructions posted for building in on OS X at:

If someone wants to get a jump start on it, I'd be glad to assist with its
archaic configuration system and nuances.
