There are more problems than that, which is why there hasn't been an
immediate update.  Apparently it doesn't get along with the new
apache2.

Keeping in mind that this is a volunteer project that people do in
their spare time, when a maintainer is otherwise busy in a Macless
environment 3 days may well not be out off line (and it's summer so
people go on vacation).

Amplifying upon the other message:  they are currently working on
Subversion 1.4.
