The messages are quite literal in what is missing: you need to add a START-INFO-DIR-ENTRY block or a "This file documents" paragraph to gengetopt.info. The former gives more control and a more organized texinfo index for the user. The gnuplot.info file is a clear example: >INFO-DIR-SECTION Texinfo documentation system >START-INFO-DIR-ENTRY >* Texi2html: (texi2html). Texinfo to HTML Converter. >END-INFO-DIR-ENTRY The IDS line indicates the section within the document dir where this will be placed, and the line in the SIDR...EIDE block indicates the index entry in the form "* $ItemName: ($infofilename). $Description." The latter is a quick slap-it-together way, and is what the existing (10.[34]/unstable) package does. To quote the beginning of its file: >This is gengetopt.info, produced by makeinfo version 4.8 from >gengetopt.texinfo. > > This file documents GNU Gengetopt, a tool to write option parsers >for C programs. > The sentence contains the same info as the index entry but does not contain the section in the dir. dan -- Daniel Macks [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.netspace.org/~dmacks ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
