Should we really need to hack GNU-supplied GNU info files? Something isn't right there. I haven't followed the history of that "This file documents" thing to see whether GNU changed their mind about it and write it now as "This manual is for". The gengetopt sources did have this change of mind somewhere between 2.15 and 2.17 in any case. Does anyone know about this change? In any case, the /sw/sbin/install-info perl script explicitly searches for "[Tt]his file documents". If newer GNU info files are now adopting "This manual is for", it would be easier to change install-info in dpkg to allow this, too, than to change all info files. -- Martin ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
