Apparently there was.  I rebuilt coreutils-default, and now it works.  Sorry
'bout that.
Now, anyway docbook-dsssl-nwalsh has been changed. rm lines have been removed. It would also had been very surprising that it did not compile/install properly due to the antiquity of this package.
