While installing a fresh version of
Fink-0.8.1-Intel-Installer I ran into a small issue.
Using unstable/main unstable/crypto, I issued the
following commands:
fink selfupdate-cvs
fink update-all
and it dies here (I probably didn't copy enough
above):
/sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -r
fink-buildlock-gettext-0.10.40-25
(Reading database ... 4184 files and directories
currently installed.)
Removing fink-buildlock-gettext-0.10.40-25 ...
Reading buildlock packages...
All buildlocks accounted for.
While trying to install:
gettext-0.10.40-25
The following inconsistencies found:
Unsatisfied dependency in gettext-tools: gettext (=
0.10.40-19)
Trying to resolve dependencies...
Could not resolve inconsistent dependencies!
Fink isn't sure how to install the above packages
safely. You may be able to
fix things by running:
fink scanpackages
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gettext=0.10.40-25
Ran the above. Running apt-get install installs a
bunch more dependencies.
Now trying update-all again works.
