Marco, Alex, Thanks for the pointers. I've set up the darwin-cross package and seem to have it working ok (some problems with SSH, but it's working fine in principle). Is there a way to detach the remote session, or have it run independently with the cross-compilers (i.e. to maintain its own binary repo). I imagine this would be fairly easy if I could compile fink for Linux, but the configure script requires a Darwin distribution. Anyone have any idea whether it'd be fine to just comment out this requirements, build Fink, and then specify CC=i386- darwin-gcc-4.0 in the MAKEFLAGS?
