Stumbled into another problem with those compression related perlmods, trying to install openoffice on a 10.5 system: apparently perl586-core claims to provide compress-zlib-pm586 while it doesn't -- "no Compress/Zlib.pm found in INC" , confirmed by dpkg -L.
Another problem showed up too: the pkg shows as bdep archive-zip-pm586; apparently when having such a bdep perl586 itself must also be added as bdep, else INC will be incorrect and point to e.g. perl5100 subdirs instead of perl586 subdirs.. But that is possibly just a problem with the pkg itself..
