I am starting to wonder if we should have an umbrella package that would take the place of system-perl588 on x86_64 fink 10.5 by making sure that all of the perlmods provided by Apple were provided via the matching fink packages. I think the core developers need to get much stricter about perlmod packages always being tested with -m since there seem to be a lot of hidden issues that option exposes.
