thanks for the report. Unfortunately, changing pentium-m to core2 is  
likely to break other stuff.

Then again, I have no idea what the line that is causing the problem  
is doing. It appears to be one of those changes that were added  
"behind my back" without notifying me, or explaining the change to me  
(although I am sure that as usual, this was done with best  
intentions).  In this case, already in 2006 ;). Well, or maybe I was  
told, but simply forgot (but I can't find anything about this in my  
mail archives).

Anyway, I'll try to find a solution that works on 10.4 till 10.6.
