   Try adding...

--build=%m-apple-darwin`uname -r|cut -f1 -d.` --host=%m-apple-darwin`uname 
-r|cut -f1 -d.`

to ConfigureParams. It sounds like configure is getting confused by
being told i386-apple-darwin10 while the compiler is generating x86_64 code
being its back. If there is any hardcoded assembly code in madplay, this
will cause configure to pick the wrong type of assembly code for the 
architecture of code generation being used by the compiler.
