FYI, the code generation bug in llvm-gcc which breaks the FSF gcc has
been resolved...

http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=9571#c17

It is unclear if we can get this into llvm-gcc-4.2 2.9 (which is
the last llvm.org release). I've also found a linker bug in
Xcode 4.0.1 when building gmp5 with clang (radar://9214380) and
a miscompilation of gmp/gmp5 with llvm-gcc (testsuite failures
and hangs)...

http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=9596

This last one seems to be specific to -mtune=core2 as I can't reproduce
the problem on x86_64 Fedora 14 with -mtune=k9.

ps We should identity as many of these issues with llvm-gcc/clang
as possible before Xcode 4.1 is released. Hopefully any fixes added to
Xcode 4.1 may be backported for one last Xcode 4.0.x release.
