I've just added code from Daniel Johnson which changes the default behavior of fink in git master.
--build-as-nobody is now the default option. It can be overridden in a .info file by the use of a "BuildAsNobody: false" field. And it can be overridden at the command line via "fink --no-build-as-nobody ..."
