Had the same problem with the December Dev-Tools. First I
downloaded the "big package". After the installation seemed
to be frozen, I aborted and downloaded the "small packages"
Dev-Tools. Then it took a lot less time (don't stopped the
time, but I would say about 20 min on a 600MHz iBook).
Maybe a failure inside the Big Image at Apple's ftp?
