In fact, that problem should be gone on 10.1. Also, in fileutils 
4.1-3 (which is also in stable) the fileutils package is modified to 
not install its version of "rm".

So I doubt this is the cause. Of course, maybe Eric has his own 
version of fileutils installed (e.g. via GNU-darwin); Eric, you 
should verify that "which rm" gives you /bin/rm
