I've been struggling with getting ddd installed, and finally turned to fink to help me. ddd depends on a Motif-compatible library, like Lesstif, so I installed it first, then installed ddd. Fink doesn't complain about either of the installations.
However, when I try to execute ddd, I get: Warning: This DDD requires a Motif 2.0 library (using Motif 0.0) Continue at own risk. Error: attempt to add non-widget child "DropSiteManager" to parent "ddd" which supports only widgets Xt error (attempt to add non-widget child "DropSiteManager" to parent "ddd" which supports only widgets). It then goes on to say that I've found a bug in DDD, but I don't think so; I think it just can't find Lesstif. Fink installed it in /sw/Lessif, instead of /sw/bin, which is where it seems to put everything else.
