[Fink-users] Weird users installed

Hello all.

I hope this hasn't been covered already, although I'm sure it has.

I'm told that a list of bizarre users in my Users preference pane are created by Fink. But does anyone know why Fink does this?

I've only installed Gimp and XFree86 via Fink, and suddenly these users showed up in my Users pane:

� News Server
� MySQL Database Server
� PostgreSQL Database
� Game Files Owner
� Canna Japanese Input
� Postfix Mail Transfer Agent

Why does Fink do this and will Fink programs run without the users (I already deleted them via the pane and my system refused to recognize my Admin account!!)?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
