when i run "sudo dselect" and do an "Update", i see:

i've seen 225 for a month or two now.  what i'm wondering is, is this normal?  
or, are there more packages (in stable main crypto) that, because of some 
configuration error i've made, i'm not seeing.

similarly, when i say "fink list", it says:

Information about 288 packages read in 2 seconds.
----

again, is that what everyone sees (in stable main crypto), or have i mangled 
something?
