However, there appeared two nits to pick. On the server log at /sw/var/nessus/nessusd.messages, it appears that a fairly large number of vulnerability plugins are failing to load. This is a snippet: > [Wed Apr 3 13:06:56 2002][28412] 40x_cross_site.nasl depends on > find_service.ne > s which could not be found > [Wed Apr 3 13:06:56 2002][28412] a1stats.nasl depends on > find_service.nes which > could not be found > [Wed Apr 3 13:06:56 2002][28412] acc.nasl depends on find_service.nes > which cou > ld not be found > [Wed Apr 3 13:06:56 2002][28412] alchemy_eye_http.nasl depends on > find_service. > nes which could not be found Also, when launching a probe against a host, the progress window opens but takes ages for the individual host data to appear so the probe can begin. Are these generic Nessus shortcomings, or is my installation doing something wrong ? Also, I'd like to keep Nessus 1.0.10 as a "production version", installed in its default Fink spot, but install the beta Nessus 1.1.14 as a testbench under /usr/local. nessus-libraries builds and installs without error, but libnasl bombs with an 'Undefined symbols' regarding _lrand48 and friends. Any pointers on how to get past that error ? Thanks again, J.
