okay your QTDIR is set properly that is good.  But you should use fink it
sounds like the configure script isn't checking the QTDIR var.  and unlike
what bhines says it would use -lqt-mt not -lqt, but anyhow I always start
by making a pkg for test compiles but if you insist on not doing that
you'll need to add -I/sw/include to the CFLAGS and -L/sw/lib to the
LDFLAGS.
