Hello. I have installed Scilab; but when I input the command "scilab" on Oroborus X, the Scilab's window opens for only a instant, disappears quickly, and leaves a message as follows:
% write start: can't write file apparent state: unit 1 named /Users/myhome/scilab.hist last format: (a) lately writing sequential formatted external IO When using twm, the same message appears but even the window does not open. Also I have noticed no menu bar of twm appears even when I do not input the command "scilab". I would appreciate very much if anyone tells me what is wrong or what I should do?
