Thank you. But I have already installed XFree86 4.2.0 on Mac OS X,
though it was installed before FINK by a double-clickable installer.
That means I use system-xfree86 package of FINK.

I have tried to install xfree86-base package of FINK because I suspect 
system-xfree86 package
disables the menu bar of twm. But the FINK installer requires removing 
XFree86 4.2.0 already installed.

How do I uninstall XFree86 4.2.0?

Or are there any other reason to hide the menu bar even with XFree86 4.2?
