Most of them are Free [as in beer, as in speech]: they're the company behind Gnome. Connector is their [only?] non-Free product, and they seem to be hoping that sales of it will be able to keep them afloat. It looks like single user licenses for Linux are $69 (USD), ten user licenses are $599, and twenty-five user licenses are $1449. To see their catalog, see the main page: https://store.ximian.com/index.php While I'm at it, see http://www.ximian.com/products/connector/ for a description of the product. Basically, it allows Evolution (MS-Outlook workalike) to interact with MS-Exchange 2000 servers, and that's about it. I love the idea of pushing for an OSX/X11 version [OSX/Aqua would be even better, but you've got to start somewhere], but I personally have no need for it: I don't connect to Exchange for personal or business use, so I couldn't use Connector if I wanted to. That notwithstanding, I still think there are a lot of people that would want this, and would pay for it. I'm a little nervous about affiliating Fink with this effort -- I see good & bad angles there -- but either way I'd like to see it happen, and would be willing to help promote the idea. -- Chris Devers [EMAIL PROTECTED] Apache / mod_perl / http://homepage.mac.com/chdevers/resume/ "More war soon.
