Hi all,

I recently did a complete installation of fink-unstable from source (took
about a day on my pb g4). I'm using OS X 10.1.4 and fink 0.9.12/0.4.0.cvs, as
well as the April devtools (but with gcc-2.95.2). Among the packages built
were mozilla-1.0rc1-1, and gnome-core 1.4.0.6-3. Unfortunately, both the
gnome-terminal and mozilla applications die with bus errors. Does anyone know
why, or how I can find out why? Note that galeon seems to work fine, so at
least part of mozilla does work (the libgtkembedmoz component).

I also discovered that the abiword 1.0.1 package in unstable disappeared in
favor of a 0.9.6.1 package, which doesn't want to install due to a dependency
on automake << 1.5, which can't be found. Ideas?

Among the things I notices during compilations was that invokations of libtool
take a really long time. I assumed it was the zsh that Apple includes as
/bin/sh that was at fault, and replaced it with a symlink to /sw/bin/bash,
but if there's a better solution, I'd be happy to hear of it, since libtool
links take a long time.

Finally, I noticed that using themes under gtk (from control-center) doesn't
seem to work fully. For example, installing the aqua-grey theme from
themes.org yields me white instead of grey colored widgets, but none of the
other changes associated with the theme. When using that theme, all gtk apps
give: "warning: libpixmap.so not found." Any ideas?

Thanks for any assistance, and thanks for the great project (running nautilus
on macos x is really great!).

Dara
