Hi Folks,

Well.. I was having trouble getting wxgtk-wxpython to build by manually
copying .info files into local, so (on the advice of another fink user)
I decided to just edit my fink.conf and put unstable/main on the list of
directories searched for .info files and patches. Then I forgot that I
did that. ;-< I *think* that might've been my problem. Anyway.. long
story short.. I ended up doing a

rm -r /sw

and reinstalled fink using the binary installer, but I still get:

[vh10-33:~] steve% fink
Segmentation fault

I snooped a little:

[vh10-33:~] steve% gdb perl

?? huh ??

Have I messed up perl too? Is there some extension that's installed on /
that's not compatible?

Any ideas?

thanks,
-steve
