Bizarrely, I was able to run this update without a hitch a while back. The timestamp on the tarball is April 4, but it was probably a bit more recent than that. Strangely, the .info & patch files have stamps of May 27 and Jan 16 (why such a difference?), and the .deb symlink is stamped for May 29 (but then, so does everything else in /sw/fink/debs), but the file it points to is missing. *Weird*. I don't normally remove .debs, so I can't imagine where it would have gone.
In any case, I was at some recent point able to build from that tarball without hitting any errors, but when I tried to unpack it this morning I got the same result that was mentioned here earlier -- tar: mpg123/jukebox/CVS/Root: Cannot open: Not a directory tar: mpg123/jukebox/CVS/Repository: Cannot open: Not a directory tar: mpg123/jukebox/CVS/Entries: Cannot open: Not a directory tar: mpg123/jukebox/audio.h: Cannot open: Not a directory tar: mpg123/jukebox/README: Cannot open: Not a directory tar: mpg123/jukebox/controldata.h: Cannot open: Not a directory -- mixed somewhere in the middle of the output, and -- tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors -- a few hundred lines later. I'm quite sure this wasn't a recent re-download. The file worked before, and it something is making it fail now. I have no idea why... -- Chris Devers [EMAIL PROTECTED] Systems Administrator, Unix advertising systems, Boston.com _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
