The configure phase for xirc fails with a complaint about QT not being
available, but it is...
***********
checking for QT libraries... /sw/lib/qt2
checking for QT includes... /sw/lib/qt2/include
checking for Qt >= 2.1.0... configure: error: Sorry, but you need Qt version 2.1.0
or higher to compile xIrc
### ./configure failed, exit code 1
Failed: compiling xirc-2.3.8-2 failed
***********
A fink listing gives me the following relevant output:
***********
qt2 2.3.2-1 Cross-Platform GUI application framework
qt2-shlibs 2.3.2-1 Shared libraries for the QT application framework
(i) qt3 3.0.4-7 Cross-Platform GUI application framework.
(i) qt3-bin 3.0.4-7 Cross-Platform GUI application framework.
qt3-doc 3.0.4-7 Cross-Platform GUI application framework.
(i) qt3-shlibs 3.0.4-7 Cross-Platform GUI application framework.
***********
I could downgrade to qt2 -- the debs are still around if I need them --
but surely qt3 should fulfil the "Qt version 2.1.0 or higher" rule, no?
