Hello all,

Can someone verify their "patch" for me? Here's mine:

[localhost:~] hester% which patch
/usr/bin/patch
[localhost:~] hester% ls -l /usr/bin/patch
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 97948 Dec 26 08:27 /usr/bin/patch
[localhost:~] hester%

For some reason some packages being installed by fink "lock up" during
installation. It's always when a patch is being done and I've traced it do
to patch being used on a file that doesn't exist. It just "freezes" instead
of moving on. The command line just sits there with the "patching file
filename". I have to restart the whole machine when this happens because
when I try to go to another app I get the multicolor wheel that spins for
ever. The latest problem I've had is with "fink update-all" getting to
Xfree-base. I'm using gcc3.1 from Apr Dev Tools and also update fink from
the cvs.

Thanks.

  Jeff
